Declaring Your Independence

Separate your allegiance to another – 2 Cor. 6:17 - Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate , saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
Religious allegiance – hear the truth about your beliefs
Righteous allegiance – hear the truth about your self
Relative’s allegiance - hear the truth about your family

Declare your Independence – Luke 6:22 - Blessed are ye , when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Dissolve the bands
Which have connected you with another
• Relationships that are not of God – Ezra 10:11 - Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

Right to make your own decisions – Jos. 24:15 - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve ; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell : but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Right to accountability of your own decisions
Ecc. 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing , whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
