11. Ministry Gifts, Part 2

Pastor Robert Rohlin shows that Scripture speaks of 3 types of spiritual gifts (denoted by 3 Greek words) -- Motivation, Ministry, and Manifestation gifts. Much confusion in the teaching of spiritual gifts comes from a failure to understand these categories that God created. This is the second message about ministry gifts. Did you know there was a ministry gift of healing and a ministry gift of tongues that are different than the manifestation gifts by the same name. Because some groups misunderstand these, they pervert the teaching and practice of spiritual gifts. Understanding the motivation gifts is our priority. But once that is identified, it is crucial we know how to use those motivation gifts within the context of a ministry. Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 outline the ministry (Gk. diakonian) gifts.
