God is Spirit; as such there is nothing that He needs from you. Your worship provides God nothing. He has no need of provision. There fore there is no room for the condescending sentimentality that so often finds its way into our worship today. We are left only to humbling fall at His feet and beg the priviledge of worship because we need this not God.
