Very often people will say - "I do not have to believe in God or the Bible to do good" - is that true?

We must admit that it is not only religious people who give generously to help relieve poverty, or who help the sick; but atheists also will do these things.

We might then ask, where does their goodness come from? The answer surely is in the fact that people can only do any good at all; be generous, kind, and help those in need, because all of us, even the non-religious atheists, are made in the image of God.

There is therefore the evidence of our creator in us all. So, when people say - "I don't need God, to do good" we can say - "yes, we know what you are saying, but you are still wrong. Because, the only reason you can do any good at all, is because you were made by the God you don't believe in."
