America's Danger and Only Hope

The city of Nineveh was a land of ungodliness and sinful practices. God sent a prophet named Jonah to warn them of God's coming wrath and to advise them to become humble and to seek undeserved mercy from the Lord. The message of God convicted their hearts, from the king to the most feeble citizen they began to repent and to fast and to plead for divine mercy. They were not sure that God would show kindness to them but they had no other hope. America is like Nineveh, a land of sin and corruption under the condemnation of God.
