Israel refused to believe God was leading them for their good and so whatever they were commanded to do, they did the opposite. When it comes right down to it we all want to be masters of our own destiny and do not want to be under God's authority.
Every complaint, every act of disobedience is a step closer to an evil, hardened heart of unbelief. Turn from your love of rebellion and cry out to Jesus for mercy!
