Seeking the Lord

Exegesis: Seeking the Lord requires God's electing grace. God often calls those whom we would not expect (v. 1), and sometimes hardens those who should know better (vv. 2-5). Seeking the Lord bears God's pleasant fruit. God's chosen have a savory effect on the world (v. 8), are given the charge of the world (v. 9), and extend His kingdom in the world (v. 10).
