My Brother, My Hero (Part 2)

This text is full of the language of family: brothers, children, sons. All of which reflects the writer's encouraging assertion: Jesus is our brother and our brother is our heroic deliverer. This message picks up the final two points of our outline. Our brother suffered for us to rescue us: i.) Jesus suffered to be our leader (v.10); ii.) Jesus suffered to be our brother (vv.11-13); Jesus suffered to be our hero (vv.14-16); Jesus suffered to be our high-priest (vv.17-18).
