The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Series Mark
70
Acts 10 re-introduces us to the source of Mark's Gospel. One of the criteria for the books of the New Testament to be considered as divinely inspired is that it had to come from one of the apostles. Peter often preached to those who had received some measure of the truth, but still were not yet converted. Mark's gospel reflects this ministry emphasis of Peter. It also emphasizes suffering.
The sermon by Peter appears to be the very same structural outline that Mark uses to organize his gospel.
