God's Mercy to the Wicked

1 - Despite the wickedness of the Ninevites, God mercifully sent His servant Jonah to them (1:1-2)

2 - Jonah grievously suffered for disobeying the Lord's commission to proclaim God's message to the wicked Ninevites (1:3-17)

3 - Jonah's deliverance from the consequences of his disobedience resulted from God's mercy in response to his urgent prayers (2:1-10)

4 - God re-commissioned Jonah to warn people of future judgment which led them to faith and repentance (3:1-10)
