Anger

Applied Christianity. Biblical anger lacks revenge and violence in action and in speech. Biblical anger keeps the emotions under control. Biblical anger is an emotion that motivates godly action.
We must not cherish anger, or it will result in bitterness toward God and man. The bitter heart will be obvious in bitter words. We must not sleep with an angry spirit; we must not meditate on that cause of anger nor on how we can get revenge. The sun must go down on a peaceful and calm spirit. A calm spirit comes from thinking on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, and praise worthy. (Philip 4:8)
