By the Word the Way Is Known

In the Old Testament, sometimes sinners presumed to approach God only to find themselves being devoured by His wrath for their presumption. Is there any way that we can come to God and know that it is safe? Yes, there is. When God says in His word, "You may come this way," then and only then can we approach the living God without fear.
