Receive Thy Sight

The account of Zacchaeus doesn't stand alone. Man's dark spiritual state is on display. At the conclusion of the account of the rich ruler in chapter 18, Jesus spoke of man's inability (V27). After Jesus spoke of his impending death, His own disciples "understood none of these things" (V34). In the following verses Jesus encountered a blind man (V41). Zacchaeus "could not see" Jesus (19:3). Study this and we'll find human depravity.
