Testing and Temptations

The Oriental outlook on trials and hardships is traditionally a very stoic and cold one;
while, on the other hand, our Western culture seeks to avoid such trials and tribulations
at all cost. The Christian viewpoint toward the difficulties of life is found between these
two extremes, and the sixth petition of the Lord's Prayer has us asking God for this
Biblical outlook.
