Philippians 2:3-8

l. The Call to Think Like Jesus Christ (vv.3-5)
A. To be small in one's own eyes
B. To think of others better than self
C. Must be humbled to stand, be one, love
D. Here is the way - be like the Meek One
E. We must be born again

ll. He Was Everything God Was (vv. 6,7)
A. Jesus Christ: eternal equality with God
B. Voluntary humility: do not hold on to equality
C. Emptied Himself: made Himself of no reputation
D. Humbled Himself: took the form of a servant

lll. He Became the Lowest of the Low (v.8)
A. He humbled Himself
B. He became obedient unto death
C. Even the death of the cross

lV. What about You and Me?
A. Are we learning of Jesus?
B. Nothing grand for us humble ourselves
C. Jesus Christ magnificent, beautiful beyond words
