One parable, three pictures—rejoicing love

In this wonderful parable we now come to the very heart: we have seen the composite picture of miserable sin, and the composite description of sovereign mercy, all of which helps us to understand the marvel of rejoicing love in God's own heart, known by him, shared with him, and poured from him.
