Persecution, Prayer, and Power

As Christians, we are called to "pray without ceasing." We see this in the Church's response to the arrest and imminent execution of Peter by Herod Agrippa I. The prayer was answered, and we see the power of God, and the eventual powerlessness of the King. But the word of God grew and multiplied.
