The Lord of the Covenants #8

When the first man broke the covenant of works established by his God in the Garden of Eden it sent shock waves through the spiritual and material universe. The covenantal curses were not limited to Adam and Eve, they spread to all their posterity. This message explores the Biblical doctrine of original sin, demonstrating from Romans 5 that the guilt of Adam's one transgression is imputed to everyone at conception and that we all have inherited his sinful nature, for he is the covenant head over all fallen humanity. Our only hope lies in another covenant head, the Lord Jesus Christ, who has provided a particular redemption for His people, so that the righteousness of His one act of obedience is imputed to all who believe in Him.
