You Must Be Born

As we think through this well-known narrative of Jesus and Nicodemus there is a local context – the night visit at Jesus’ residence – and there is a larger, eternal context of the covenant between the Father and the Son before time began.

What wonder!
So in the process of the plan of redemption, at the end of Christ’s Incarnation and the believer’s regeneration, the Son of God has a human nature He never had before and the Redeemed have a spiritually alive, new nature they never had before.
