Parable of the Great Judgment

This parable is very similar, even identical at points, to the Parable of the Wheat and Weeds. But this parable, The Fishnet, is completely focused on the end of this Age and the judgment to come on the wicked. An important point is that this separation of good from evil people, will be absolute, unassailable, and irrevocable. Without a doubt, this judgment will happen and we need to live every day in the fear of God. Then we need to warn others of the wrath to come so they can flee to Jesus Christ. Lastly, we must seek to live out our daily lives in awe at the person of Jesus and in gratitude that he rescued a people like us from our captivity to sin so we could rise up and follow Jesus Christ.
