Our bodies need care and maintenance. So do our houses. And our cars. And so, too, do our relationships with people outside the church. “... those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works.” Note the words careful and maintain. Paul was burdened that 1st Christians live out their faith, letting their gratitude toward God show up in the way they served their community. An other-focused life is a by product of believing in God. Born again people realize they have a responsibility to represent God to their fellow man with actions that benefit others tangibly. “These things are good and profitable to men.” Titus 3:8 (NKJV)
