Main Idea: Leaders must teach conduct that accords with sound doctrine.
• Younger men need to be men of godly character (6-8)
Self-controlled (6)
• Titus must set the example (7-8a)
A model of good works (7a)
In teaching show integrity, dignity, & sound speech (7b-8a)
So that an opponent may be put to shame (8b)
• Slaves need to be men of godly character (9-10)
Positive (9ab)
Be submissive to their own masters in everything (9a)
Be well-pleasing (9b)
Negative (9c-10a)
Not argumentative (9c)
Not pilfering (10a)
Positive
Showing all good faith (10b)
So that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior (10c)
Application
Adorn the doctrine of God our Savior with God-glorifying living!
