The Seeking Shepherd

How does preaching Christ the Shepherd and His love for His sheep give a lost sinner hope? Why did the religious leaders of the day think that they were not lost and not needing a Savior? How are we all pharisees by nature? What was the parable used for? Who are those that He came to seek? What does good mean? What is the crown given? How does salvation come to a house? What is the difference between the spiritual seed and the seed of the flesh? How is that some have a head knowledge of Christ and convince themselves that they are saved?
