Sermon: THE WICKED VINEDRESSERS OF GOD'S VINEYARD
Scripture: Mark 12:1-17 2 Chron 36:14-16 Text: Mark 12:1-12
Points: I. A Reasonable Request
II. An Abusive and Wicked Response
III. A Prophetic and Wrathful Judgment
"Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vinedressers, and give the vineyard to others.
"Have you not even read this Scripture:
'The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the LORD's doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes'?" Mark 12:9-11
The Passages between Palm Sunday and Good Friday are particularly important. They are the last teachings that Jesus would have opportunity to give before his suffering and death.
The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers reveals how the Jewish leaders were in fundamental opposition to God and His plan is redemption.
