Marriage

The bible is very clear regarding the proper definition of marriage. It is between a man and a woman, joined by God, not to be put asunder by man, and is the only proper domain for human sexual behavior. Sexual conduct in outside of marriage is fornication. If we fail to understand the bible's teaching on marriage, we will miss out on some important observations regarding God's attitude toward sin and his bride, the church, because the bible uses marriage and infidelity to help us understand something of the magnitude and majesty of God's love for his chosen people who were by nature children of wrath.
