Redemption Through The Blood.

In this sermon, Rev Priestley has us cosider 3 things:

1. The Peril of our state.
   We were under the power of (spiritual) darkness.
   i] this was a power of drowsiness
   ii] this was a delusive power
   iii] this was a dangerous power
   iv] this was a damning power

2. The Privilege of the Lord's subjects.
   i] we have been delivered from the power of darkness.
   ii] we have been translated into the kingdom of the Son of God's Love.

3. The Power of Salvation.
   This power is in the redemption through the blood.
   i] the person of the redemption - Christ
   ii] the purchase of redemption - paid with the blood of Christ
   iii] the procurement of redemption - the forgiveness of sins.
