The Response to the Living Creatures

We have looked at the ministry, the mission, and the service of the Living Creatures thus far. And this afternoon I would like now for us to look at the response given by the Church to the Living Creatures. We see the response given by the Church in verses 9-11 of the text. The 24 elders first "fall down before God who sits on the Throne." They then "worship Him who lives forever and ever." And then 3rdly they "cast their crowns before the Throne" declaring His worthiness. We will only have time for 2 of the 3 responses. Let us see whether we can learn more of what is the appropriate response of worship in these words. Let's ask 2 questions.
