Born or Born Again?

In Acts 26 we find the word Christian.

Did you know that the word Christian/Christians only occurs 3 times in our Bibles?

1 Peter 4:12 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
Acts 11:26 … And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Now there are people in Australia that say that they are Christians because they believe that Australia is a Christian country and because their born here that makes them a Christian.

I've got to tell you being born in Australia doesn't make you a Christian you've got to me Born Again!

Now there are others that think that they are a Christian because their parents are Christians. If your born into a Christian family that does not make you a Christian…You've got to be born again!

Others might say I'm a Christian because, I've been in Church since I was a baby.

Being in Church for years doesn't make you a Christian …You've got to be born again.

In John Chapter 3 Jesus spoke to a very religious man called Nicodemus and in John 3.1 Jesus said: John 3:1 …Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jesus said to Nicodemus again: John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

To become a Christian and to have a home in Heaven, Nicodemus had to be born again.
In Acts 26 Agrippa was almost persuaded to become a Christian.
