PALM SUNDAY IS ABOUT WORSHIP
"Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" Mark 11:1-17
It was repugnant to Christ that God's House of Prayer had become something else.
With this study we return to our exposition of the Gospel of Mark. We studies chapters 1-10 a few years ago and pick up the current study as we enter the Easter Season 2021.
The First time the Temple was destroyed it was because of idolatry and the worship of foreign gods. The Second time they thought form and ritual were enough. They failed to Worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. They refused to worship God in the flesh... the incarnate Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And so their house would be left to them desolate.
