Og Defeated, the East Land Grant & Moses' Final Plea

Moses recites to the new generation now, which is recent history for them, after Israel had conquered Sihon, king of Heshbon, now they turn their attention to Og, king of Bashan. After this the borders of the land to be allotted to the two and one-half tribes on the eastern side of the Jordan River is described. Then Moses reminds Israel of his charge to Joshua, and reveals his own final plea to the LORD to allow him to lead the nation into the land of Canaan.
