James 2 Part 5: Judged by The Rule of Mercy

The Tone is that of Judgement… unmerciful judgement sown in this world matures into merciless judgement before The Throne of Christ.
Don't excuse yourself by counting out what you think you have done right. If we are going to start measuring and checking off the list of deeds you've done right, (meaning, making your appeal to the Law) then The Law will kill you. If you have offended in even one point of it, then you are guilty of the whole.
We have heard it said that you will be judged according to the amount of light you have: in some sense that is true, but what is less talked about is that you are judged and shown mercy based upon the degree of judgement and mercy you gave to others. The Rule of Mercy.
Mercy and love to others through Christ Jesus must prevail over the self righteous tendency to justify ourselves before others.
