The Adornment of the Saints 01 Men

We have been looking at what Paul wrote to Timothy, that God was concerned the gospel was preached to all, and that prayers were made for all. There is only one way and we need God’s help to stay on it. Now it might seem as if Paul is mixed up here as you read verse 8 and that he is going backwards talking about prayer but that isn’t correct. Paul is now getting to some very straight forward advice on our behavior. This is different from the general expression about God’s will and our responsibility within it. He is going to be addressing men and women, contrasting them and dealing with them in their respective roles with their respective weaknesses. It is a section of scripture that is much needed in our day. Join us as we get started on the roles of men and women in the Church.
