The Joy of Being a Christian

There are many things which need to be learned in living the Christian life, but the precious thing about this learning process is that it is sweet to the soul of the person who has been changed by the grace of Christ. And the reason that it is sweet, is that you have come to know the truth concerning what Christ has done for sinners, and this truth has set you free. You know that the truth of the gospel and the word of God has set you free from the bondage of sinful thoughts and sinful ways of doing things; things which are natural to the person who does not know Christ. This being set free leads to tremendous joy in the life of the Christian; joy inexpressible and full of glory. Let me give you a few reasons why. 1st – It is a joyful thought to the Christian that they have come to know imputed grace. 2nd – It is a joyful thought to the Christian that they have come to know imparted grace as well. And 3rd – It is a joyful thought to the Christian that come to have a spiritual understanding of God’s will for their life
