A Primer on Prayer

If we had a chance to ask of Christ one question that He would answer directly today, I doubt any of us would request that the Lord, “Teach us to pray.”

So rather than discussing how to pray, I want to give you a primer on prayer. I want to answer some of the more fundamental questions:

• What is prayer?
• What good is prayer?
• Is there anything I can do to cultivate a life of prayer?
