I AM the Resurrection and the life

Now we come to the central reality the coming miracle will demonstrate. The whole of this paragraph leads into one of the great "I AM" statements in the Gospel of John. "Jesus said to her, 'I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?'" John 11:25-26 While this is our destination in this text, our Lord had John include this truth in the center of this narrative.
