Peacemaking, Righteousness and Persecution

Peacemakers call men to the reconciling peace won by Christ. Peace was made effectual when God accepted what Christ finished at the Cross. That was namely redemption from the curse of the Law, reconciliation from enmity with God, justification and sin's remission from guilt and condemnation. God's ambassadors of peace call men to repent and believe that truth.
