For the Believer, Mercy withholds wrath which we deserve, until the day that Grace is applied to the heart that God makes alive in Christ. The response is a humble and obedient life.

Mercy, is God's true love poured out even to those whom are His enemies condemned under the Law, and liable to the punishment of God's own wrath.
