First Steps in Ministry Part 2

Continuing from the previous passage 1 Timothy 2:1-4, the apostle Paul is instructing Timothy to set prayer for the lost, especially the lost who are in positions of authority, as a priority in ministry. In this text, there are many phrases that are often used out of context to teach aberrant and heretical theologies, but in context they form a consistent picture of God and His ways. This is a difficult passage of Scripture, it is helpful to first listen to or watch 1 Timothy 2:1-4 in order to establish the context of the passage.
