Bullheaded in worship

33

Because we have the victory already in Jesus; we should be firm, settled, stedfast, or bullheaded Christians in certain things in our lives. Satan will try to get us to commit false worship, he tried with Jesus. Jesus , in that temptation, like always was bullheaded about His worship. He worshipped God in spirit and in truth. God wants people who are worshipping in the right spirit; He ain't interested in those who are just putting on a show. He wants those who are wanting to go full steam ahead in their worship not holding anything back. Threats will come toward us for our stance but we must hold our ground in the face of the trial. In our text these three men were gathered together in the name of their God and thus were not worried about what the king had to say. They knew that they were only going to worship God, no matter how mad the king got at them. Bullheaded worship will see results: these boys were safe in the fire and the king's attitude changed toward them. They even were promoted by the same man who threw them into the flames. Their worship was true, is ours? Do we allow anything to hinder our worship or are we steadfast and unmovable, bullheaded?
