Jesus Christ is the Jehovah of the Old Testament

Topic: Moses has been banished from Egypt, he's on the mountain where he meets God, and he sees the burning bush. God tells Moses to bring His people out of the land of Egypt. Remember, there were no written scriptures back then.

Exodus 3:13: The people do not know God's name yet at this period in history, so Moses asks “what shall I say? Who shall I say you are called?” God says “I AM THAT I AM”. In Hebrew, this can be translated “I am who I am, the absolute I, the self existent one.” This Hebrew translation contains all tenses of verbs: past, present, and future. God has no beginning and no end.

John 4:23: this is the Samaritan woman at the well incident, when Jews had nothing to do with Samaritans, much less women Samaritans, so she was amazed that Jesus even spoke to her. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. “He” is an added word. This was not in the original script. So read it as “I that speak unto you AM” He is the one who spoke to Moses on the mountain.

John 8:23: Jesus is talking to the Pharisees here when he has his discourse here. If you want to learn how to handle a business, look here for the perfect example. Jesus told the Pharisees, “for if ye believe not that I am” (take out the he if it's in your translation.

John 8:28: Jesus is talking about the crucifixion here, when the Son of Man is lifted, but again He says “When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am”
