We saw Paul beginning to round of this chapter in versses 30 and 31, in considering The God Offended, Who is the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the The Godless Offences which still issue forth from the corrupt flesh. The final verse is in some ways the highpoint of the previous verses when applying the doctrines of the old man and the new man, and completes the thought of these final three verses by giving The Godly Option.
