Let's Check Your Heart

Jesus' "Blessed" statements are linked. If you "hunger and thirst" for righteousness, you are "merciful" or given to the truth of God's sovereign mercy. The "pure in heart" are single-minded, with no mixture of works. They shall see God in His word, by faith and in glory. But know this, Psalm 24 describes Christ's ascension saying exclusively, "He hath clean hands and a pure heart".
