The Glory of Christ

Aim: To be more transformed by catching a glimpse of the glory of Christ.

Exegesis: The glory of Christ captivates us with marvelous power (vv. 1-2), purity (v. 3), and persona (v. 4). The glory of Christ changes us. We want to serve (v. 5) and honor (v. 6) Him. The glory of Christ challenges us to scale new heights of discipleship (v. 7) and intimacy (v. 8).

Key verse: v. 2 ''Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.''
