Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath

As the Sovereign Lord of the Universe, the Son of Man has complete rule over the Sabbath.

The One who is Lord of the Sabbath is God. God is the One who instituted the Sabbath and therefore, He regulates it.

Ultimately, the response to the One who is Lord of the Sabbath is submission.

The Pharisees were more intent on keeping the formalities of the ceremonial law than truly having a relationship with God.

He who is the Lord of the Sabbath is to be Lord of my life.

The Disciples were walking with Christ to aid Him. The Pharisees were walking around Christ to criticize Him.
