Jesus' Priorities: Prayer

Jesus ministry was filled with prayer:

• He prayed while being baptized (Lk. 3:21).
• He prayed while being transfigured (Lk. 9:28-29).
• He prayed before choosing His disciples (Lk. 6:12).
• He prayed after feeding the 5000 (Mt. 14:22-23).
• He prayed before walking on the water (Mt. 14:22-23).
• He prayed before asking the Disciples an important question (Lk. 9:18).
• He prayed before raising Lazarus from the dead (Jn. 11:40-44).
• He prayed in the Garden before His trial and crucifixion (Mk. 14:32).
• He prayed on the cross (Lk. 23:34, 46).
• He prayed after the resurrection (Lk. 24:30).

As we observe the Prayer-life of our Savior, we could note that:

• His prayers were for fellowship with the Father.
• His prayers were for guidance.
• His prayers were for strength.
• His prayers were for an example (Jn. 11:41-42).
