The Great and Final Judgment

Why do many deny these passages regarding God’s judgement? What is the connection between what Paul describes as the ‘last trump’ and the seventh trump sounding in Revelation? Why is the number seven significant in God’s history in Revelation? Why is the last trump a message of blessing for Christ’s Church and warning for those not in Christ? Why were the nations angry at the last trump? What are the trumpets warning of? If God is sovereign and already reigning over all why isn’t it always apparent? Can God be a God of love at the expense of His justice? How is history all about God and His Christ? Why did Christ come? How is God’s Christ also His Prophet, Priest and King? How does Scripture describe God as Sovereign in all things? Will those in hell be angry at God or regretting they didn’t repent? How is it that everything about heaven reflects Christ and His work accomplished for His chosen sinners?
