Interceding for Israel

Dr. John Whitcomb teaches about “Interceding for Israel” from Daniel 9—the first of three great “Chapter Nine Prayers” in the Old Testament—today on “Encounter God’s Truth.”
We’re going to see how Daniel prayed fervently, trusting God for the fulfillment of His promises given through the prophet Jeremiah, and how that should motivate us in our prayer lives today.
Following the lesson, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb why Daniel needed to pray about the return of Israel, when it was already prophesied in Jeremiah, and how prayer relates to the sovereign will of God.
