God is SO Good!

"Life is wild, but God is good!" was the theme of last year's vacation Bible School. Certainly one thing that could be said about the year 2020 is that "life is wild!". When we rang in the New Year on January 1, 2020, none of us anticipated the wild ride we've experienced the past four months. It's been scary, full of changes, and at times sad. But in the midst of everything God is still GOOD! God is good morally for He is holy and righteous. God is good responsibly in that He keeps His promises. But God's goodness is also experienced in the way that He cares for you and I! God, in His goodness, cares for ALL of His creation. therefore we can be worry-free as we face this pandemic. God will take care of us! But in order to experience God's goodness, we must first of all TRUST God which is the antidote for worry. Secondly we are invited to TASTE God's goodness, to call upon Him in prayer. And lastly we must be careful to THANK God for His goodness! Now, as always, it's a good time for us to count our blessings, name them one by one! And then thank Him for all He has done for us!
