Joseph: Praised God for His Sovereignty

Being faced one last time the intended evil of his brothers so many years before, Joseph praised the sovereign God. He said, "God meant it for good...to save much people". Likewise, the wicked men of Jerusalem thought evil against Christ. They used guile to capture and try Him; they used cruel, undeserved brutality to slay Him. By it, God saved "much people", yea, His own elect.
