The last piece of armor is less obvious in this text. Prayer is an intrical part of our daily life as we apply the individual parts of the armor. In fact, without prayer this armor is worthless to us. Prayer must be vital to our Christian life and we must continue with perseverance as we fight the spiritual battle. Prayer allows us to make the armament of faith a vital part of life and live a life pleasing to God.
